Traditionally a serum is a water based product.  However over the years this word has become blurred and a serum can now be oil based like our Verano Facial Serum.

You would usually find serums as a clear, viscous gel.  They can leave a slight sticky and tacky feeling on the skin.  These days a lot brands incorporate Hyaluronic Acid into their serums which most people want as it yields beautiful results but maybe not quite the right texture you're looking for.

One option is to layer your products.  Apply your water based serum first followed by your oil based serum.  This should avoid any sticky feeling left on your face.
